Our DD is in her second year of preschool and it is fun to watch how the kids interact with each other. I volunteer for an hour every morning to help get the class started, here is a conversation the I over heard this morning:
Boy: I want some crayons.
DD: You have to say please.
Boy: NO! Give me some crayons.
DD and 2 other girls: Not until you say please. You have to use your good manners.
Boy: NO! NO! NO! I want some crayons NOW!!!!
Boy's Best Friend: All you have to do is say please.
It is funny how they already police themselves to use good manners and treat each other with respect.

Been a Long Time
It has been a long time since my last post. Not a lot has changed in that time. We are stilling waiting to be matched. Our daughter is still asking the hard questions. And my heart has lost all hope in a happy ending. My head still is telling me it will all work out and that DD will have a baby brother or sister.
One of the reasons that I have not posted in a while is that my sister-in-law found out that she was pregnant and I have been trying my hardest to come to terms with the fact that they will now have 3 kids and my other sil will have four and we have one beautiful daughter that wants nothing more than a sibling and we are not able to give that to her.
I know that this sounds like a real pity party and it was. It has taken me a long time to work through it and now I am back. I am going to use my blog as a way to release my feelings.
I am also not going to sit around anymore and let the world pass me by just waiting and watching. I have registered for some on line college classes and will hopefully be able to complete my elementary ed degree in the next couple of years.
No more feeling sorry for myself. On to bigger and better things then that. I will now be waiting a little more patiently with a goal to be completed.
